Vadim'm happiest memory was his birthday present. His mum and his sister gave him Bimka. It was a huge plush dog with long ears. Bimka was nice and cosy to hug so he became Vadim's best friend. You could take him to bed waiting for mum's late coming home from work, it became shorter and safer. The dog kept him company in all his childish games. Time passed, the boy grew up, but he still had a love for animals. Vadim was a good student at school, he was into sport and full of hopes. 

In May 2016 he felt a pain in his knee. Vadim was lively and agile, he was keen on volleyball, so he often got injured. Doctors thought Vadim had a pain as he was an adolescent and he was growing up too fast. He was given a prescription and said to have his knee X- rayed. The knee hurt, he developed a tumour. Vadim had to see a traumatologist, then he was sent to Borisoglebsk to have MRT which showed the boy had cancer. 

Now Vadim Iazadzhi is seventeen. He was supposed to be in year 11 at school. However, Vadim is in hospital and his dream is to get over his illness and get into university. The guy has osteosarcoma which means a long period of treatment. The family needs money badly. Vadim's mother died at the end of May. 

Rita, Vadim's elder sister, had no guts to tell Vadim the tragic news, as he was too weak. But she couldn't help saying. The fragile girl took care of her mother's funeral. The thing that she had to support her brother urged her. Rita started looking for ways to cheer Vadim up. She remembered her brother's plush dog and decided to get him a puppy. She realized she hit the target when Vadim heard a dog barking in his room. Rocky was real loud. The sun was rising for Vadim. The boy, who had difficulty getting out of bed, was smiling now! 

Let mum see him! Take him to mum! - Vadim asked his sister. The girl pulled herself together to tell him that his mother was no longer alive. The small family got smaller. Rita is nine years older than Vadim, she is strong enough to look after her brother, but that's all she can do. 

We feel we have to tell you the story of two wonderful orphan children, who love each other a lot. They know the value of life, which they also love. They are not desperate although they are in trouble. We want to ease their suffering... We can't take off the burden, but we can help them get the medicine. We are positive there are good people ready to help. The time has come - Vadim needs your help!
